Hi Everyone:
This is my first post here. I just bought a Yamaha HTR-5650 and the Polk RM6005 speaker package (comes w/ PSW202). I have since found out that I can get Polk speakers at a very good price so I seek your opinions:
Should I return the 6005's and get the 6700's?
If I do this should I also get the upgraded sub (303) or will the 202 do the trick?
I've heard that Polk subs are not that great... Is this true? If yes, what brand should I look into?
Should I consider getting the RTI28 bookshelf speakers instead of the 6700 package?
Sorry for all the questions!!! I know you guys are way up on this stuff so I truely appreciate your comments!!
Thanks again : )

I go along with ATC on the RTi 28's. I have a set in the spare room and they are better than a set of small satellites (IMO). As for the subs, I have a PSW 650 and like it, but for the money I spent on this sub, I could have gotten an SVS or Velodyne that sounds that much better. Listen to some different subs with different types of music (not just rock or bass intense music). Listen to some music that doesn't just need the sub to overpower you. This is where the better quality subs are seperated from the low quality boom boxes.
Good luck on your setup.
