and none to soon. Always envious of the Dealer Service reps that came by the showroom pedling their wares to to our GM/Finance managers because they all invariably drove expensive cars and had limitless amounts of money to spend buying us lunch, I have joined their ranks.

Last week I accepted a position as a Dealer Financial Services Representative for a finance company here in Los Angeles. The pay structure has the potential to be very good, and the hours are better than any previous job I have had at any time in my working life.

So no more Mr. Potato Head as my wife has taken to calling me lately, and back into the workplace for me starting at 7am for me. Guess that means a bit less time posting for me, but it will also mean more money for all things audio.

Wish me luck!

John. I think the city of angels is calling my name again. I have a hate/love relationship with that place. Would be great to meet the man behind the screen. The eats in LA are killer good! Lets plan something over tunes, eats and treats...

    Wishing you luck,

Good luck!! I spent over 20 yrs working with people & their money...enjoyed some of it, became a hassle toward the end but made some decent money doing it along with some long hours.

First day went well. The commute wasn't so bad, both on the way in and coming home. It is a small but growing firm that seems to have their crap together, and they are expanding quickly into other markets. Looks to be plenty of room for growth and advancement as well. Hopefully the actual working environment is half as good as the picture they paint in training. If so, I will do well.
