How does the H/K AVR 3600 compare to the H/K 635 Power/Sound wise?

I miss my old H/K 635 power and sound wise with exception of the lack of HDMI and Mastered Audio. I figure if the H/K AVR will give me the H/K 635 power and sound with the addition of the HDMI and Mastered Audio I won't be disappointed.
I currently have a Pioneer 1120k with a 5 Channel B&K Sonata 5 but I find them a poor match for my Rti Speakers. I find them fatiguing for everyday TV but an amazing pair when it comes to movies.
