And yeah, they're exactly what I was after. Nothing I don't like about them other than wanting to upgrade the xovers at some point and get a set of RDO-198s for them. But I'm liking them so much, for once, I'm not in a hurry to go changing them. They're in overall good shape except for a couple of dings on the bottom cap of one speaker. That'll be easy to fix. Had to pay a bit more than I wanted to for them too, but it's not like I can just order a set. And I really, really, wanted these.

Congrats. All your friends and neighbors will wonder why you have that grin on your face all the time.

Are you using an A-1 interface with the Mono amps?

Yeah, I have the AI-1 cable for the monoblocks.

Yes, those are casters. I'll get some spikes soon, pull the casters, putty the holes, and get them spiked.

I consider my biggest problem at this time, though, deciding between Chili Peppers' By The Way and The Seasons for my next selection.

Excellent! Good grab. Get some of Larry's rings for them. I am in the process of adding dynamat xtreme, JB weld and installing Larry's rings to the ones I got from Bill (bsoko2) recently. You should do these mods plus the crossovers. I think you will be even more pleased.

"I'm yet to hear a Polk speaker that merits more than a sentence and 60 seconds discussion." :\
My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....

You guys are always welcome. House is kind of a **** hole, but I got decent audio gear. In fact, over the next few months would be best. I'll be starting some heavy remodeling later this year or early next.
