How much space is needed behind SR speaker?

I know this has a lot more importance when it comes to subs then woofers but still - is there a certain minimum distatance i should have between the back of SR6500 woofer and wall/glass?

Glass is like that only when it's all the way down so really it's only a "once in a while" thing, rest of the time there's enought space in the back to not even think about it.

I think you're fine. How come you haven't sealed the doors?

My doors are beyond sealed lol, there's 2-3 layers of deadening on each panel - outer , inner and plastic door panel :)

Hole pic was taken from is an access to bolt holding up window track. It "opens" and "closes". Obviously i "opened" it to take a pic and "closed" it right after.

So basically what you're saying is that there's no need for space behind this woofer?

the general rule of thumb is the radius of the pole vent opening.

But for something like a window being rolled down, I'd say if it fits, youre fine.

It should not be an issue.

I bet they sound very nice with all the sound proofing that you have done.

I'm in love with 6500. I had 5250 before them and while 5250 are "all that" kind of speakers midbass department in 6500 is out of this world. I swear, it now feels like i have subwoofers inn my doors. Very impressed with (mid)bass in these.

I agree. The SR 6's are among the best mids ever. I'd stack them up against anything out there and literally have!
