Sunfire Signature Amp and Pre

Up for grabs this time around are my very much prized and loved Sunfire Cinema Grand 425x5 Signature amplifier and my Sunfire Theater Grand MkV preamplifier. Reason for selling is that my focus has shifted to my two channel rig and I need the funds to support the completion of my amps. I never in a million years would dream of selling these, but I just replaced them with a Pioneer SC-37 that will handle all of my HT needs for a long time to come.
The 425x5 is an absolute powerhouse that never fails to delight my ears every time I turn it on! It does absolutely everything well, including driving a 4 ohm load to ear-splitting levels and never runs out of steam. This amp comes with the original manual, box and if I can find it, the smoked tempered glass base. Cosmetically it is superb on the front plate and the sig seems to glow in the dark and is also pristine. The top however was discolored by a moron(NOT ME!!) that used windex on it to clean it. The meter light also works well.
I was planning on sending it out for re-annodizing, but decided to try and sell first. If the to were as nice as the rest of this amp, I would not be shy at all asking $1650.00 for it as it is THAT GOOD!
$1450.00 shipped CONUS....
The TGP MkV is also a very nice piece that is a solid 9/10 on the Agon scale. It is pristine and was recently serviced at Sunfire where it received all the updates and adjustments needed to ensure it will work well for a very long time to come. It has a very nice phono stage, and Sonic Holography, which will reward your ears wuth an acceptable version of SDA-style sound on normal speakers. It accepts HDMI video processing, but does not pass audio over HDMI.
This pre is unique in that Bob Carver himself has signed this one, one of only a very few that he has graced with his name. These typically sell in the range of $1500.00, and at that it is a great pre.
1150.00 shipped CONUS....
If someone wants both, we will work on a deal, and I am open to offers made via PM.

Hi, John...Hmm...decisions to make here. I will call you in the morning. You know I've been wanting a Sunfire amp!
-
As a current Sunfire owner, I know these are fantastic pieces. That powerhouse 5 channel amplifier will never need to be upgraded...ever. I own 2 of the Cinema Grand 200x5 and love how they push my LSi25's...and thats half the power the one for sale here has.
GLWTS!! Someone will be a VERY happy owner.

GLWTS, dont have the capitol for that amp right now :frown:
Time to see if I might be able to get "creative" with some funding...."....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." William Bruce Cameron, Informal Sociology: A Casual Introduction to Sociological Thinking (1963) -

Hell has frozen over . . . this is what happens to people when they move to California. In all seriousness though, it is really hard to imagine needing anything else after hearing a Pioneer Elite SC-37 in your HT rig.

Lots of "creative" budgeting going on, to be followed shortly with some grovelling to the wife, promises to not purchase audio for a set period, and promises of future purchases not related to audio at all....."....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted."
