someones (usually female, no offense cfrizz :) spouse says "Those speakers are too big...get rid of them." He obliged and now they're mine....SDA 2B's with pin/blade IC. Sound pretty good stock. TL upgrade, spikes, Armacell with hurricane nuts, etc. forthcoming.

    Why do these little buggers sound so good? Bass response is off the charts. And they're stock! Before I do the upgrade to TL's this weekend I'm gonna swap in the RD-0194 (SL2000's are harsh) and see if that will smooth out the highs. The RD's have over 1000 hours on them so they are well seasoned so I should notice an immediate improvement in the top end.

    Thanks. Are you referring to the Yaqin or the Harman Kardon..both are tube integrated amps btw?

    Ahhh...much better highs now.
    I still can't get over how good the bass response is in these speakers...just unbelievable.

    I just got finished listening to this pair. They really sound great. Nice SDA effect and the bass is strong. Nice find Mike. Can't wait to hear them after the upgrade. Thumbs up!
