AnyDVD, DVDFab,or what

I've been using DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink for years. Generally they work great - actually Shrink is usually sufficient.

But I've noticed I'm having more and more movies that I can't copy. Most recently neither Shrink nor Decrypter would crack Battle for Los Angeles.

I've read about AnyDVD and DVDFab. Both (apparently?) break decryption and are relatively easy to use. (Although, I can't figure out the difference between DVD Fab and another product on the same site, Passkey for DVD - does DVD Fab break encryption?)

Looking for some advice/insight/recommendations on either of those or any other decrypter in the $40-$50 range.

Thanks.

Thanks. My boss also uses DVD Fab, but I like to get opinions here.

Hot Springs, huh? I'm in LR. Been here 3 years as of July.

I'm a DVD Fab user myself. I used AnyDVD back when I used Handbrake to rip DVD directly to MP4 because it saved a step. But now I rip everything directly to ISO and DVD Fab does it in one step for me.

DVD Fab is an actual ripping program with a GUI, AnyDVD is just a service that runs in the background so you'd still need a ripping programs.

So in short, if you already have a ripper program that you really like, AnyDVD is the way to go. If you're looking for a good all in one solution, DVD Fab.

Used both and both a good. I kind of like AnyDVD since it allows me to use DVD Decrypter still. However, as mentioned above DVD Fab has a lot more functionality.

.....review of best 10 and comparison.

Installation & Setup: The setup is straight-forward and requires you to reboot the machine after the install. We like how 1Click DVD Copy PRO has played it smart by Legally Integrated CSS decryption. During first time setup, you will install a free decryption utility. Once you set that up, copying any DVD is as easy as "1 Click".

...I use to use the whole package. After you installed the program you were then required to download the decryption utility which was updated occasionally to keep up with the technology. Very simple....never had a problem.
