Ran across someone selling these and thought they'd be great for my garage. He's asking $125, but I think that's a little much. I'm thinking more like $100, but that might still be generous. Anybody have any experience with these?

Yeah, I know... but I'm looking for quantity of sound, not quality.

I'd have a hard time coughing up anything over a 50 for any CV speaker. If you just want a garage speaker, plenty abound for under 50 bucks on craigslist.
    HT SYSTEM-
    Sony 850c 4k
    Pioneer elite vhx 21
    Sony 4k BRP
    SVS SB-2000
    Polk Sig. 20's
    Polk FX500 surrounds

    Cables-
    Acoustic zen Satori speaker cables
    Acoustic zen Matrix 2 IC's
    Wireworld eclipse 7 ic's
    Audio metallurgy ga-o digital cable

    Kitchen

    Sonos zp90

I have a friend with a pair of those. All he talks about is how loud they get. Whatever floats your boat...

For a garage or loud house party they would be fine. Not the best sounding speakers by far. But they hit hard and low and can shake your insides if that is the plan.

100 bucks seems steep for them.
