Speakers/Preamp/Interconnects for sale

Hello all -

Some financial difficulties are forcing me to get rid of some of my home theatre. I would like to make this pickup (Or reasonable meeting place) only from 18045 (Easton Pennsylvania). I have dealt with many different polkies selling before, and I'm sure they can vouch for me as a seller. Here is what I have. Note that the cosmetic issues will be shown in pictures that I will upload shortly.

Polk CS400 center channel speaker. Two small cosmetic scratches on the top/side of the speaker. The tweeter has been pushed in. It never affected the performance to my ear, but I'm sure with some tape or a vacuum (I never liked to play with it myself) you can fix it. I used this speaker up until last night when I pulled my HT apart. Cosmetically 6.5/10. I am asking 120 dollars OBO.

Polk Monitor 30's (pair) in wood (not sure the technical color but see pictures). I used these as rears in my HT. They have never been pushed hard, and no blemishes to speak of. Rated 9.5/10 because, hell, nothing is perfect. Asking 50 dollars OBO.

Adcom GTP-500 2 channel preamplifier/tuner. I used this on and off when I used to change around preamps with my SDA 1C's. Functions as it's supposed to. I have the original remote. I don't have to say much because there are tons of things said about Adcom and their items online. Asking 125 OBO.

5 Cardas 300B interconnect cables - all the same length (40 inches tip to tip - I don't do meters). I used these to connect my 5 channel amp to my AVR. Orignally purchased for 150 a pair (375 total). One minor rip that doesn't affect the sound. Asking 150 for all five OBO.

I couldn't get a picture of the small snag in the one IC because it was too small. THAT's it for the pictures unless you wanted something more specific.

If you aren't local, I would consider shipping everything but the speakers. That means the Adcom and Interconnects. I don't do packing, so you can choose the carrier and I will have them package and ship it with insurance. Again, all prices are OBO - don't hesitate to message me.

I want to get some quality cables for my setup and these Cardas seem like a good fit. My gear is in my signature. I currently have one BJC LC-1 and an acoustic research cable (link below) doing the job. Generally speaking, would these cardas be considered a significant upgrade from BJC? Should I grab another BJC LC-1 to complete it or get these Cardas? Ideally I would get get both and compare then sell the set that doesn't work as well but I only have the funds to do that right now.

FYI to everyone -

I believe CDN5003 is looking for general comments from all users - not specific comments from me. We've already gone back and forth, the best info I can give him is online reviews, etc. I have nothing to really compare them to, so please feel free to message him if you have comments about the cables, and their use in his system. Also, I wouldn't consider anyone 'mucking up' the thread if you posted the comments for all to see.

I bought the SSM7's awhile back ago. They are excellent. Your SSM9's were really impressive. I heard them at your house and they are on my short list of speakers to own. Good luck selling your other speakers.
