Specs seem adequate and customer reviews have been very positive. Anyone here have any experience with them?

You really want 'BIC' in your sig?
Check your lips at the door woman. Shake your hips like battleships. Yeah, all the white girls trip when I sing at Sunday service.

My fiance's father wants to put together a decent system for not a lot of money. The BIC looks like it could be perfect for him.

I have that sub and I like it. It replaced the H100 which had great reviews. Its has a nice clean, tight sound. The warranty is great, I believe 5 years on the everything including the amp, which most others only give you 1 or 2. Cheapest I 've seem it is around $175.
Also check the egg they sometimes have the polk 110 for $125 and the 505 for $200.

I've had it for about a month now. I'm no professional, nor do I claim to know what sounds "good" or correct", but I more than pleased with my F12. Its in corner of 15' x 15' room with 13ft ceilings. When I play battlefield bad company 2 and I'm in the tank it literally shakes the chair i sit in. I watched part of The Dark knight last night on TBS and it sounded really good to me.

FWIW I picked mine up off amazon for 183 no tax/shipping

The BIC subs are a good bang for the buck, hard to complain for $183.00. Yep, that tank in BFBC2 is bad azz, sounds like it's ripping the living room apart.

For the price, it doesn't seem he can go wrong. It should easily beat the crap out of his current Bose "bass" module. And no kidding about the bass in Bad Company 2, it's epic at times.

My friend has one of these and I think it sounds pretty good. Definitely geared towards home theater but if that's what you are looking for then dive in.

I have one in my home theater. For the price, it think it is well worth it.

I've had mine for about 5 months. Got it for 160 on Amazon as an open box/brand new item. It absolutely blows away my old Polk PSW10 and so far I've yet to hear it bottom out or hear any port noise. Room is 13x13, 8 foot ceilings with one wall open to kitchen. Nice, tight bass with plenty of power. User reviews put this sub over the PSW505 on all audio sites except this one:)
