Rush Moving Pictures vinyl karma

When I purchased the Blu ray version of Rush's Moving Pictures from Eric Tracy I promised to karma something, so this is it. Rush's epic Moving Pictures on vinyl. I have two copies and this one is about VG+ for vinyl and cover. It plays with some surface static but not much and it's a very good mastering of this classic album.

Just say "in" to be in and tell me what Rush song or album you first remember hearing. For me it was the Fly By Night album and I was blown away with the energy and sound just 3 guys could create.

Draw will be by random number generator on the 19th of August.

First memorable exposure was hearing Working Man when I was in high school (long after its original release!).

In please! Very nice karma. Thank you for offering this one.

I remember hearing the song 2112 in its entirety on a casette when a friend of mine played it many years ago. "I can't wait to share this new wonder, the people will all see it's light...." Great song!

Taken from a recent Audioholics reply regarding "Club Polk" and Polk speakers:
"I'm yet to hear a Polk speaker that merits more than a sentence and 60 seconds discussion." :\
My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....

    I'll go, IN!

My first experience with Rush was when my boss at my first job loaned me the Live in Rio DVD. Even as a classic rock fan, I hadn't listened to Rush at all, primarily because my dad wasn't a fan.

I've got 6 albums now, I think, but not Moving Pictures.

I still have my vinyl copy so I'm out but "Fly By Night" did it for me too. Then the album "Permanent Waves" drive the nail home.

My vinyl copy is one of the ones that is missing the first drum beat on Tom Sawyer. Anyone else?
