I just sold a 1963 Fender Strat for $16.5 k on ebay. It took a little less than two hours. I was looking for $15 k, but I'll take 16.5. Buyer is a guitar dealer with a 100% positive rating.

I think I'll have to go to storage and see what else is there (its been a while).

What are you thinking of buying D?
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

Not sure yet. Any ideas? I know you're fluent in Magnepan-ese.

I would not do anything but 3.6(Used) or 3.7...period at this point. I would do that now if I didn't still want to play around a bit. That's my last speaker when I settle.

+1 on the 3.7 idea. They are a great speaker. It will be these that get paired up with my Monoblocks when they are done.

If you have anymore $16k guitars kicking around, you should karma them right here...

And by Karma them, I mean give them to me.

I know. It has been around here for about 15 years. But not to worry, I kept this one (same series but its got a new whammy and frets so its a dream to play, but not a museum piece) and about 12 other misc. guitars.
