A great Friday so far

It is a great Friday.

I have the day off.

I had a phone interview for a software automation developer/lead position, and was asked to come in for a formal interview. The good part is this is in a technology field where I have zero experience and knowledge. It should make for a much more interesting job if I get it.

I cleaned the house, especially the two-channel and HT gear, and it is sounding great.

I just started on a 12 pack of Red Tail Ale.

Finally, in the mail I received the latest issue of the absolute sound, and my XL MIT T-shirt arrived. Thanks Mr. Doro.

Badass! I like the look of the controller. It looks like a 1960s AM car radio.

However, this year it is a bit out of my range. On the other hand, the review of the Bryston BDP-1 digital player seems to have pushed me over the edge into buying one. Especially since I have the matching DAC. While I love my iPod/Wadia, it does not play high-res files, and I need to get into that game.

Yeah, I've also owned the Bryston DAC and it's very nice. I went with the newer Wadia deck for now. The Bryston combination looks tight.
