I've only been a part of this forum for 4 years, but I would like to say that some members here go above and beyond to help others out and I am really appreciative of this. I would like to give props where props are due and thank the members who I have interacted with in my short time here:

Vr3MxStyler2k3 - the first Polkie I met back in 2005. At the time I met Trey on a different forum, he was very helpful with my speaker building and technical questions. He let me come over and hear his system and I was hooked on the DT's. So I bought them from him and they are still in my main rig to this day.

Face, Polrbehr, Lasareath - I first met you guys at one of Sal's gatherings and I thought you were all a bunch of opinionated folks but found out that you really do care. So here's what I learned from you guys in particular and would like to thank all of you for your help along the way

Polrbehr - Thanks for all the wonderful food and advice given over the years. And thanks for the vacuum cleaner for cleaning my dorm room! I am still listening to the Polk R15's every day, and love those little speakers!

Face - Thanks for letting me know about the Vette Doctors. They are absolutely wonderful and great to work with. Thanks for all the rides, demo's, and random Q&A chats via e-mail and PM about audio!

Lasareath - Great food and a wonderful party, man you really know how to put on a gathering. I liked the gear, the food, and the catering you brought. And man those SDA's were loud!!

Nadams - When we met in NYC, Noah gave me a MetroCard for my ride back. You didn't have to do that. Thanks!

exalted512 - I learned so much from you reading your past responses about installs and the like. And thanks for the help via PMs!

audiobliss - Another great member. Although we haven't met, helped me a lot via PM's and private e-mailed questions.

Disneyjoe7 - I haven't met you in person, but you have been a great help with my tube preamp build questions. I can't wait to meet you down at PolkFest!

Bigaudiofanatic - When I had a Car Audio question, or just a general automotive question, this was the guy to go to and he has been very helpful the whole time! Very patient and spent a lot of time explaining things to me.

Jstas - I'll admit. John and I disagree on a lot of things but when it comes to technical know-how, he is a great resource. I learned a lot from him just going back and reading old automotive posts and lurking.

Now I know there are many more who I have yet to meet but would just like to thank the above members for their time and assistance!

How did you get a hold of my ignore list?

Well, apparently my post above was too huge so here it is in 2 pieces:

treitz3 - Tom bought a laptop from me and I sent him the machine first so he could evaluate it. He said he liked it, I told him to pay me whenever you want as I am in no rush, he sent me a check the NEXT DAY overnight mail! That envelope came faster than Superman! Awesome dedicated member!

lightman1 - I inquired with Russ about some Electrical Engineering careeer questions at a Power Company, he gave me a lot of info and I would like to thank him for his insight being an engineer on power systems!

shawn474 - I had a cable management question and he sent me some cable ties for free, these were exactly what I was looking for and couldn't find in local stores.

DarqueKnight - Man you really know a lot about audio. I've learned so much just reading your posts even though we haven't really talked in person.

madmax - Another great member. Although we haven't met, seems to know a lot about tubes and enjoyed your threads on modding the Scion xB.

Concealer404 - Very helpful with automotive related threads and very quick to respond. I learned a lot just reading your posts.

Sherardp - Thanks for all those HD-DVD's! And you really know your stuff when it comes to projectors and HT gear. Great technical knowledge and a GREAT member!

Dorokusai - Great when I had a forum question or needed help moving a post to the right section. Quick response and a lot of help when I needed it!

And one last thing. Treitz3 was extremely helpful and spent lots of time on the phone explaining all sorts of things to me from troubleshooting/repairing electronics to setting up my whole-house audio system with pro amps. Thanks for being honest and upfront with me, as I was always told "pro amps are no good for 2 channel use" until you gave me your background on studio gear and now I understand why they are commonly used in BGM systems such as Abercrombie stores or theme parks. Thanks for helping out and I have to say that Tom has gone ABOVE and BEYOND even offering to send me a Niles zone volume control when I told him I would buy the gear myself. We have some great members here like Tom, and I am very appreciative of all your help! Thanks!

I think forums are one of the most useful tools on the internet. Nothing like hearing from your peers about certain products/topics, etc.

Talking about the devil, has anyone heard about him lately? I have not seen much of his posts lately, I believe he might have moved to Polk Army permanently?

Jstas;1633893 YOU CAN NOT SEE THIS MEMBER'S POSTS AS HE IS STILL ON YOUR IGNORE LIST!!!
Oups! I guess the devil is still around!:confused: Now I realize why I presumed he was no longer around!:tongue:
