4 Bass Shaker wiring help

I have 4-4 ohm Bass Shakers and have ordered the Crown XLS 1000 amp.....I plan on running the amp in bridge mode.....

I just don't undestand how to wire the 4 Shakers so that the amp see's them as 4 ohm:confused:

I found a pic on the net ----this seems to be right.....Is this a Parallel/Series wiring?....Will this make the amp see the Shakers as 4 ohm?....just want to make sure before wiring them up!

    Yes your diagram is correct for what you want to accomplish. You have 2 pairs of 4 ohms shakers in series which brings the circuit up to 8 ohms and then those 2 circuits of 8 ohms are then paparelled bringing the impedance back to 4 ohms.

    Can't wait to play some Gears 3 & Battlefield 3 & Blurays ......with these Shakers.

    The Audiosource amp 100 wasn't getting it done for me.....the Crown XLS1000 is probley overkill but thats what the volume buttons for.....:smile:

    Hey TECHNOKID...........Do I need to run a single + & - wire out of amp.......and then Daisy chain to each shaker OR run 2 wires each out + & - out of amp to each individual shaker?

    This is were I get confused...sorry for so many questions.

    Or does it matter if I daisy chain out of amp or individually run to each shaker from amp?

    Seems to be the same to me......maybe its not though.

    Yes, this is the easiest and cheapest way. Just get one cable of the receiver and then daisy chain the shakers from there just as per your above diagram.
