Lost our Mom a couple of years ago. But I hope and pray you don't have to experience that. Best wishes for your Mom!

its wonderful hearing from all of you.

many speak of their experience with the dementia, part of our situation now.

Its tough knowing, in a large way, part of them is already gone.

But sometimes you walk in and shes having a good moment, and you think of any of the old times and storys you can think of while she is able to relate.

Its like a little gift from god for amoment.

god bless and keep all of you.

As we well know the circle of life gets us all. When its your time all you take with you are the memories. Be thankful for all the memories you get to keep and know shell be in a better place with her fond memories.

I feel for you Scotty and I'm sorry to hear of your mothers situation. Keep the positive attitude in the days to come as she will remember that of you whether shes with you at the time or not.

you are dead on to what i have felt since i was a kid.

have never bought any of the storys we make up to support religions, but always had a real peace that there is a god, a cycle to life, and something more.

We have 2 vhs tapes, one of really old home movies, no sound, sis and i were kids and dad was alive, the other a sound movie from 90s family get together for mamas mamas birthday, everyone was there, and i just stuck a video cam out a bedroom window.

No one noticed it, so everyone was natural.

Will be taking down to sisters place next week when they bring mom home, I believe on a good day, she will be able to take it in, should be pretty emotionl.

I cant thank you guys enough for your kind words, this is a special place.
