Thanks, I'll tell Max , but our family has an even better one...a '62 Century Resorter 21', with a Ford 406 NASCAR big block, fastest boat on the lake until the 'Hemi's' invaded Ford country in '66

Mom and my aunt trying to slalom ski, my baby sisters in the '62

Me driving and drinkin' the '62 while they're yelling open up the back two barrels

All my pics are on Torch Lake MI, the third most beautiful lake in the world...according to the Nat'l Geographic Society. My family's had a place on the west side since 1958, between 'Lone Pine' and 'Stoney' points just south of Clam River. Torch is 19 miles long, 1.5 wide and 390ft deep, very cold spring fed lake

google earth se 6660 Torch Lake Drive Alden, MI, we sold off most of the property :frown: but still have 50feet of lakefront to build on later

I ride my motorcycle out to Alden all the time in the summer, thought it looked familiar. It's only about 25 minutes away.

We have a place on Walloon Lake, about 40 miles farther north, very similar but only about half as long, or deep.

    That's not a "boat", that's a "runabout" !!!! (they run about $15,000.00 per ft.) Very nice, I'm a Garwood fan myself!

Wood boats are beautifull, and so is yours. The upkeep though would drive me nuts. Is that rocks I see in the shallow under that boat ?? Oh no.....

Cool, I know Walloon very well, up by Charlevoix, it's a magical place, I bet you know about Doug Murdick's Fudge too , the cherry festival, Pat Paulson's playhouse...

Optical illusion Tony, the water is so clear up there, it always looks worse than it really is. Besides, it's an inboard
