So my effing dog got freaked out during a storm and went buck in the house. Ended up knocking over one of my speakers and one of the drivers froze up.:mad::mad::mad::mad: Pulled it and its circa 81' MW6500
Let me know if you have a spare. I would like to keep them orig as possible as they are the 2007 Polk Fest 10's that i bought from Ted.
Thanks
Pauly

Look close at the back of the speaker, mw6600. If it ok for you go for it , I wasnt going to chance it.Polk has the 6503.

good eye I should of zoom'd in. I actually seen the paper and though that it looked like my 6600's but just thought 6500 may of had the same paper.
Sorry -
Hay Pitt, the only reason I knew that was I was going to buy them for my monitor 7s until I found out polk replacement for 6500 was6503.Dan

6500s have white labels and sound different then 6600s The 6503 does not sound the same as a 6500 or 6600
-

Need 6500. Not 6503, or 6600.
Thanks

yes we know Pauly. The link I sent said mw6500 10a but I did not look as closely as I should of. Why Keith sent the same link is also confusing to me after he mentioned the labels are different.
Our eyes are on the lookout fer ya
Sorry Ivan -
Thanks.

Pauly, If I have been reading correctly the 6503 is the replacement for the 6500 from polk. The lady in the parts department told me that's the one they have available. Not an exact match but close.Hope you find what your looking for.Dan

I have a spare MW-6500 that I could part with from 1983 out of a Monitor 5A. I have been reluctant to mention it because it has a slight scrape when you press the cone the wrong way. However, it sounds fine with no noise when playing music. Let me know if interested.

I hooked the speaker up last night and did a signal sweep. It has a slight buzz. I doubt that you would want it.
