Can someone give me a overview as to what the polk fest is? Haven't a clue but what I've read both intregres and frightens me LOL . Just tring. to get an idea what it is, party at someone's house? Convention? Or what? Thanks

    A bunch of jerks from this forum get together and tell a bunch of lies while drinking both expensive and cheap booze. Then they all hug each other. Some give each other "special hugs".

    Basically, a big gathering of Polkies... lots of gear to demo, lots of food to eat, and drinks to drink. Usually a multi-day affair, but one big day (either Friday or Saturday) is planned.

    Most often held at a member's house, but occasionally held at Polk HQ in Baltimore.

    Also available - mini-fests, throughout the year. Usually small, and regionalised.

    You owe it to yourself to get to a gathering or a fest. We're not as weird as we seem online!
