The Y-Cables are a MUST for the goody box in any individual's collection. You don't always have to NEED something but when you do, it's nice to have it handy. At this price, it's just silly to not have one ready to go.
The Zebra cable was a Polkie creation some time ago and while he's since moved onto other hobbies as well, the cables are top notch. Sonically they're better than the comparable Ben's DIY version as I've heard both in house and the gauge is thicker. The fit and finish is also a bit tighter and his garage hobby is a bonafide business now.
How you could pass these prices up is silly. What you guys need to establish is a solid goody box with extra stuff you need in a pinch. If you don't have a stash of stuff to cover any situation, you're just a wannabe in my book. Another cool fact is when your friend needs something and you can turn him onto something that might change his audio perspective....who's the man now? ALWAYS, have modestly priced cables handy, period.
www.zebracables.comCTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint. -
I agree on the Y-Cable. Fell into two subs and had no idea I could run both subs on one sub pre-out until I asked. Had the cable lying around to do it immediately.

I want to be THE MAN! Sign me up for the Y-cables, which I don't need but apparently my goody box (really, goody boxes) does/do/whatever.
Anyway, I'll take those. Cables. The Y-splitter thingies. -
