200wpc x 7 channels in a 95 lb. black box!

I bought this from the original owner about a year ago. It was new in late 2004 and spent most of its life in a box, since he had an Emotiva MPS-1 as well. This is USA designed and built gear. It's built like a tank and weighs 95 lbs. Get a friend (or two) to help you lift it. Seriously!

ATI provided a 7 year warranty, which is unheard of. Build quality is exemplary, and it just "feels" like a serious amp. If you are into blinking LED's, flashy trim or glowing displays, this isn't the amp for you. It's a black box with sturdy handles on the front (which you will need). Here's a link to their site: http://www.ati-amp.com/AT2000.php. I have pix I can send you, but it looks just like new. Not a scratch on it. Looks and sounds great. Everything works as it should. In my HT I have been through a Sony TA-N9000es, a stack of Carver M500t's, an Emotiva XPA-5 and UPA-2, a stack of Carver M1.5t's and now this ATI amp. The ATI sounds better than any other setup I have owned. Clean, uncolored and effortless at any volume level you can stand, and the some. A nice compact package housing basically unlimited power for all but stupid-loud listening levels.

I thought I had bought my last amp ever when I found this monster. However, I've come across a 300wpc x 7 amp recently at a great price and one of the two has to go.

I have all the original stuff - double-box, manual, even the invoice.

I'm in that Atlanta area and would prefer to do a local deal. However, this thing is in a very sturdy double box and although it weighs over 100 lbs, in the box I would feel comfortable shipping it.

Retail is $3,995, and there's a new unit on Audiogon for $2,999. I'm asking $1,200 shipped inside the continental US. For a local cash deal I'll subtract $100 for shipping and PayPal fees.

I have bought and sold a lot of gear on ths forum and my perfect feedback reflects that fact. My eBay ID is rtinatl with over ten years as a member well over 200 transactions and never a negative, ever.

I'd like a forum member to have a chance at this before it goes to Agon or eBay. I haven't seen many of these over the years and I like to buy American when I can. Please PM me if you have questions.
