I just bought my first piece from this company and it arrives tomorrow. A limited edition set of only 500 pieces. A mini-bust of Baby Doll from Sucker Punch.
On order, I have the 18" statue of Sweet Pea. She is due to arrive in January of 2012. I missed the opportunity to get Baby Doll so I'm hoping a few end up on ebay. I'm sure she won't be cheap but I'm willing to pay.
I just joined their Premier Guild membership and am hoping more Sucker Punch ladies and collectibles will come.
Anyone a member, or collect their stuff?

Well, with Sweet Pea on pre-order today I just purchased Amber, she stands at 18" tall, should be an amazing piece to add to the "Sucker Punch" themed HT room.

I guess you liked the movie more than I did.For rig details, see my profile. Nothing here anymore...

Well, the very elusive and VERY expensive 18" tall Baby Doll statue from Gentle Giant is on a UPS truck on her way to me. I got #207 of a very limited 500. The detail on her is flat out amazing, so cannot wait to see her in person...this Friday. She cost me nearly a grand but so worth it.
Also on the way, (but not yet released), Amber, Sweet Pea and Rocket are on pre-order. These girls I was able to pre-order before they sold out by joining Gentle Giants Premier Guild, their only about $250 each. The last girl, Blondie, has yet to be announced but Gentle Giant said she is coming as they have planned a full set of all 5 girls.
Not sure how I am going to display the girls just yet but I'm thinking a really cool stage modeled after a scene in the film would be cool.If...

You are a strange fella Ron! ;0- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit.

Thanks, I'll take that as a compliment.If...

I hope to make enough money someday to be able to spend a grand on a doll...

Great Detail !
Congrats on being one of 500.!
I've wanted to get some Large limited "Lord of the Rings" Figures some day also. I'm like Kieko, I have a variety of collections and tastes.
I have this bronze Enterprize statue that was 1500.00 when new...no different really. Limited edition of 1701.

Somebody got lucky for 450.00 but it's aged now...
I've known guys to pluck down a thous. on a girl or ten and all they have left are memories now. Not even clear memories for the one guy who spent 20K for a week.
I've always thought of figures/figurines as a tangible expenditure that you can look at when you want and touch it and resell them down the road if need be.
A drug addict has a great time for a short period, true, but then the purchased high of whatever kind has to end.
Collectables can become a money sucking event when not kept within spending limits too. I've always kept my home, cars and bills in mind when spending on my many collectable accumulations. Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them. -
Supply and demand fella's.
Only 500 issued and there are obviously a lot of people that want her. These things cannot stay on ebay, even at these prices. I saw one go for $1,199. Two days ago there were 6, now only two.If...

So awesome!
Friday, I get to pick up Amber, my second in the quest for all 5 girls. Good news, local pick up. The other two, Sweet Pea and Rocket I have on pre-order though Gentle Giant so I am locked in. No bidding on ebay. Then, it's a waiting game for the 5th, Blondie as she has not even been announced yet.

While your choices in movies may be suspect at times, your choice of collectibles is not.Sal Palooza -
Ok, I readily admit that spending $1k on a doll is something that I am quite sure I would never do. But, after seeing the dolls, I am positive that I am going to go to Best Buy and spend up to $40 on the blu ray copy of this movie to see these girls in all of their high definition glory.Shawn

Hahahaha Shawn.
Baby Doll was the only expensive one as she is very highly sot after. The others, like Amber I purchased for $210 out the door. Next month comes Sweet Pea, she looks pretty kick-****...

And of course, Blondie, she could very well be my favorite next to Baby Doll. Of course, she has not even been announced yet so she is quite a ways off I'm guessing.
Hopefully within the next 6 to 10 months or so I'll have all 5 girls protecting the theater against; orcs, zombie nazies, dragons and robots.If...

Damn those are nice. I'm thinking too nice, I have a hard-on now, damnit especially the fish-net, panty showing girl WOW.
Seriously I don't know the movie they represent which is it? Are they a resin cast figure?
Really cool collection, congrats.

Nice! Detail is amazing. Makes me want to see the movie. If you guys think $1k for one of these is bad, there are golf putters out there that people are on waiting lists for that cost $8k, $10k and even $15k+
