I'm trying to make space avialble next to two amps. I'm wondering if it's possible to remove the glossy black side panels on each side the CS-10. Has anyone done that and is it possible without distroying the speaker?

Why would you want to do that?

I have a shelf space under the TV that is 54 inches. I want to put two amps and the CS-10 on this self. The problem is that the width of the two amps and the CS-10 exceeds the 54" by a little more than 1/2". Removing the side panels would give me the needed space.

You might want to rethink your idea. Those amps should have some room to breathe.
