Hey guys, I'm selling my workhorse after some good times. RMS Power at 4 Ohms 350 Watt, RMS Power at 8 Ohms. It's posted on ebay but I wanted to give all you polkies a look at it too. I'm not entirely familiar with the pricing history of this amp, but am offering it to Polkies for $450 (asking 475 on ebay) + $50 for shipping.

The item will be professionally packaged with insurance included. The amp was just inspected by my local audio shop and everything checked out.

Cosmetically and functionally it's a gem. There's a nick on the left side (seen in pics) and two rubber grommets are missing from the left side. I hate to see it go, but I'm trying to consolidate due to a recent move...

Monster Powerline 300 cable included. Let me know if you guys have any questions

Haha, thanks for the input. It really is a terrific amp and I love it's aesthetics. I guess I should mention I'm willing to trade for a receiver. I'm consolidating my pre and amp to a receiver that will bring me into the 21st century for my home theatre needs.

Right now I'm looking primarily at an Elite SC-05 or SC-25, but would consider a new Denon as well. Might consider Integra, but all the Onkyos I've heard have been too bright for my liking.

I should add: if I had the money I would never let this Beast go. :(

This will be the first thing I do if this man come thru with the amp.

And trust you me, I have a three layer all brick 100 year old house. The neighbors will not even notice. There will be testing at ear damaging levels. I have ear plugs. This will not be pretty.

I really wanted the power of the XPA-3 which is 300 watts. However, they seem to get blasted in the 2 ch audio section. So, I figured that I would give ATi or Adcom a try in the used market.

I don't think I will get much more loudness because 200 watts is not double the power, but it is more. We will see.

In the words of my favorite contemporary American author, 'So it goes.' (Kurt Vonnegut)

c'est la vie, such is life, and on and on. Hopefully this ebayer has as much an appreciation for good gear and good music as these forums do. ;)
