I was supposed to be on vacation this week but early Monday morning my brother lost his fight with cancer. Its been a tough road for him but at least he is not suffering anymore. A few words about my brother, he was a veteran of the US Navy and served during the Vietnam War. He was a good hearted soul but had his flaws as we all do. He will be buried with full military honor at the same veteran's cemetary as my dad, here in Maryland. Yesterday felt like I was in a haze. Today I am back here on the forum seeking comfort in threads about cables, where to buy black paint and other things related to audio. I just wanted to say its a good to be here. Cheers.

Nap,,sorry for your loss.when I was in Viet Nam(Army),,I remember a jacket that the locals were selling,,it went something like this,,"When I die,I'll go to heaven,,cause I've served my time in hell".My deepest condolences to you and your family.

Stay solid NAP, our thoughts are with you.

You can buy paint at Home Depot but I'd suggest asking serious questions about it with the lumber dept guy. Just refuse to accept what aisle he's trying to send you to and tell him about your new project for the puppy mill you just started.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

I'm sorry to for your loss Nap, my sister died from liver cancer last November the 5th in Wichita, two months after she was diagnosed and two weeks after her 56th birthday. Fortunately her suffering was short as was her battle with the disease.

My prayers are with you and your family.

I'm comforted by the thought that my sister is in a better place and finally at peace.
