I always wondered how to ensure I don't lose my SDA's to a thief and found the answer a few days ago.

I thought about the calling them Noah....just wondered if it was a company local to Doug. It might be easier to ask about tshirts, and toss out the connection and Ha Ha....then some hair brained caller from MD asking about them.

So then, what are the fuses and poly-switches for?

    Mark,
I'm sure they are local. I can certainly give them a call and ask them if they'd like some free advertising.....in MD. :)

We were on our way to a baseball game and I saw the truck. My wife thought I was nuts when I asked her to grab the camera and take a picture of the truck.

She had the nerve to ask, 'What's SDA? :)

 I won't tell you her comment about the LSiM707's. It was near blasphemy.

I just had her read this thread and asked her if she knew what SDA was (I've explained it several times). She said 'No'. All I can say is, I may never get her to understand.....but my kids will. Hey, at least she is fully supportive of two SDA systems in the house in spite of her lack of appreciation for the technology.

    Hi folks!

Managed to be going through our web statistics and saw there were some referrals to our website in this thread...started reading and realized the irony of the post. Classic, for sure! (just like your speakers...which, by the way, and quite beautiful!)

Regardless, who wants some stickers? I'm heading to the warehouse to see what we've got, but I'm willing to send a few out to whoever wants them. Might be easier if there was a central person that wanted to take point on distribution? I could send a bunch to them and you can go from there.

We are, in fact, a security company located here in Southern California. AND - we do have what's called "asset protection". So, much like a door or a window sensor, we can put one on a physical object (i.e. your speakers) and trigger alarms if they've been moved at all.

If someone's interested in taking point on the sticker distribution, reach out to me here...PM...email...or even by phone (800.896.1144).

    Cheers!

Now that is a cool company. If I had SDA's I would be all over this....

    Al,
Very Generous of you! I've left you a voicemail and will follow up with a PM. Maybe I can serve as point on the West Coast and someone from the East Coast can serve as point for back there. If I can get some stickers from you before the weekend, I'll distribute them at an audio gathering I'm hosting.

    Al,

Thanks for contacting us! On a lark Dpowell posted your business and truck on our forum and another member, Nadams, sent me an email about your post. It's clearly a coincidence but a cool one at that.

The fact that we're audio nuts is a given, ala the forum, but nostalgia often wraps itself up in new things from time to time.

If you would be willing to dig up some stickers for us, we'd love to pass on the goodwill and post them as such. I'm not positive you want to be where we are but joking aside, it's just audio man. Thanks for dropping by and if you need a POC... mnestor @ polkaudio.com

I'll drop you a line tomorrow. TY.

When you want to hi-fi the shop, let me know

    Regards,
