    That's how we roll here.

I'd rather be rolling down the road in the $20.00 Mercedes SL500 I just bought. Good deal, however I do understand what you are saying about repair costs for "luxury cars". I think the cafeteria worker will be good for a while though. With only 60,000 miles on it with regular maintenance (oil, transmission fluid, spark plugs, etc. etc.) the worker will be set to roll in his red mercedes for a while.

My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....

It's a free car, why can't he just drive it till it breaks, and then not worry about the repairs if he doesn't want to?

What if Horton just said "would you liek to indefinitely rent my car for 20 dollars, until it dies?"
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

Hey Doro, see, I'm an idiot and retarded now too.

If *I* was doing this, I'd have nasty PM's, warnings from mods and probably a "time-out".

All this because I voiced my opinion?

For the record, I don't think you're retarded. No need to get crazy personal guys.... you knew Jstas before you even came into the thread.

The cafeteria worker should have hustled the price down to about $15

The only rational way to look at it. Worrying about what a car is going to cost in repairs when it's $20 and worth way more is idiotic. Your first tank of gas will be anywhere from $40-$60...

It's not like the guy is unloading a complete piece of garbage. He could part the damn thing out and make a healthy profit.

It was a good story. It must be nice to be able to afford to give your car away.

Yeah, it's all neat and cool but that cafeteria worker better start saving his pennies 'cause it's a matter of time before his $8700 transmission decides to soil the bed. I don't think Horton did him any favors there.

If the dude doesn't have enough money for upkeep, for $20 he could put it in his front lawn and it would the coolest lawn art or flower bed ever.
