This was such a quiet and peaceful neighborhood until this morning when an argument led to shootings just down the street from me:frown: Nothing like this has ever happened in the town I live, especially in this neighborhood where everyone knows everyone, what a shocker! Sending prayers to the victims and families:frown:

We have had families from out of state and surroundings areas calling us all day to make sure we were all right as my parents, sister and her family also all live in this same area. The shots the news cameras were getting of the barricades were actually from my sisters front yard. My nephew knew the 11 year old...just still such a shock to all of us here:frown: At least the gunman has no chance of living his life out in prison or even worse getting off cuz of insanity as he was killed by swat.

Yep!! And as more and more details are coming out, it;s just even more horrific. The ****$hole shot the little 11 year old boy right in front of another 9 year old boy who's family was hiding the boy in the basement:frown: Poor kid is gonna be traumatized for life:frown:

It's all awful. There is no trying to understand what caused such tragedy.

I hope those who survived are able to piece their lives back together over time.

Shootings in good neighborhoods are becoming much more common.

Hopefully it is an isolated incident. I feel for you and the families.

At least he won't be doing it again.

Was this in the Akron area? If so, I read about it online. Awful. The posts after the article were acidic and assumed the shooter was black. The story said nothing either way.
