Well after playing around with some used encores I bought in ebay I thought I would give a lil insight into what to expect from these speakers .The MSRP on these is $500 and I got them for $100 a piece but they retail for $200 a pop
Well my impressions of these are that they are thin on the mids with little bass . The highs are very detailed without being bright .I tried to blend these with my source and it sounded like doody butt as a center . I read great reviews on these speakers but I dont really agree with most .
I played through a handful of music and like most logans they work well with a female voice .The polk rti6 could beat the crap out of a set of the ML encore and cost way less .I think that the encore is nice and clear but sounds very thin and not good at all for music . Maybe with a sub in a 5.1 they would be better and they do sound good on cod blackops
You really have to give these alot of power just to get them going but overall not a bad little speaker , just not great
