Inifinity Reference Three Monitor Loudspeaker(1991-1993) - Oak - 6-7/10 - *N/A*
I have a decent pair of vintage Infinity monitor loudspeakers that I need to move out of my spare room. They have the well received Polycell dome tweeter and equally solid 5" IMG midrange and a 8" IMG woofer. The bass response is very tight and room filling with a balanced high end that's neither bright nor dull. It's very neutral when it comes to the highs. These can get really loud and stay crisp and tight.
It's a 3 way design and they would work great on the speaker stands I'm selling elsewhere....hint hint. The drivers and foam surrounds are in perfect condition and original.
The grills have some pulls in them but are not too bad. One speaker has a couple dings on the top that stay within the finish but are present. Aside from some scratches here and there, they're in very good condition overall.
Specifications:
Frequency Response: 47Hz - 25kHz
Crossover Frequency(ies): 400Hz and 3.5kHz
Sensitivity: 90dB (1 watt/1 meter)
Nominal Impedance: 6 ohms
Power Rating: 20 - 125 watts
Woofer: 8" (20.3cm) IMG
Midrange Driver: 5" (12.7cm) IMG
Tweeter: 1" Polycell
Includes: Original packaging, including original styrofoam inserts.

As I'm cleaning one of them up, the foam around the woofer just disintegrated. So now there probably off to eBay as parts....ugh. It figures, as I was just trying to pretty them up but its better they did it here than at the buyers home.
I'm terrible at replacing the foam on speakers and not sure it's worth it for this model anyways.
Anyone done a lot of refoaming work or need some parts? :biggrin:CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint. -
I think they still have value to the right enthusiast bro. My shop here would charge me $80 to refoam all 4 drivers, if someone wants to it themselves, it would cost less than half of that.Check your lips at the door woman. Shake your hips like battleships. Yeah, all the white girls trip when I sing at Sunday service.
