Variable pitch cd player

I am involved with an amateur dance performance group that has been using a variable pitch cassette deck for practices and performances. Variable pitch is required so that the music may be slowed when the group is learning a new choreography. We are thinking that it would be a good idea to change to a cd player with variable pitch before the cassette deck requires repairs or replacement.

One model that would seem to meet our requirements is the Denon DN-C615. Unfortunately, this model is not in stock locally and would have to be ordered and purchased unseen and unheard.

Does anybody out there have any experience with the Denon stuff? Could you suggest other brands with variable pitch of ± 12 %? The player would have to be relatively immune to vibrations coming from the dance floor.

I realize this is not a typical home listening situation but hope you can help me anyway.

Thanks
