MIT Speaker Cables with Output Tails

I'm looking for a pair of MIT speaker cables with detachable output tails, I think. First of all, I've never heard a pair of MIT speaker cables and I think it's about time. Second, since MIT sells multiple lengths of output tails, I feel this "modular" design for speaker cables is a little future proof as you can adjust the overall length of the cable, as well as the connectors with their ICONN design. I know these cables will not be cheap, but it might be time for me to MIT-up. I know Magnums have the detachable design, but I think some Shotgun cables do too? What do you have?

Why haven't you signed up for the MIT CVT1 cable demo program?

Random thoughts.....the Shotgun series do not have detachable ends. I'm pretty sure MIT limits the lenght of the ends. That is, if you want two foot ends on an 8 foot cable, the cable will be 6 feet. If you want 3 foot ends on an 8 foot cable, the cable will be 5 feet.

    You can purchase longer tails.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

    That's a good question; I'm not sure...

Here is a link to some of the output tails MIT has to offer:

Jumpers for use with Avt, Shotgun, or Magnum In-wall speaker modules.

Eh, what do I know anyway.

As I pointed out a long time ago, MIT will custom make almost anything for you, provided you have the cash. I've had a few things made by their factory team.

So have I and I distinctly recall being told that an 8 foot cable will be 8 foot regardless of the lenght of the ends. Perhaps things have changed since then, I don't know. A simple call will find out for sure.

I have no idea on that issue, nor disputed it, just mentioned you can buy longer tails and get custom work done.

    Well then...

I'll start with finding a good pair of speaker cables with removal output tails, then talk to Gavin about changing lengths in the future.

MIT Shotgun MA on craigslist. Too bad it's a single cable, but at least you now know that the Shotgun MA's use output tails.

The MA series is only sold in retail stores or from MIT. You can't get them from online sellers.

Absolutely, Joe's the best, but he can't sell the MA series.
