Total noob, patchwork system

Hi All,
Up until a few days ago, I had a decent system in my truck. Blaupunkt deck, Alpine amps, db651x4, and a sub.
**** from hell broke into my truck and stole the amps and the deck. Still have all the speakers.
I stopped driving the truck 6 months ago when I got a good condition 95 Accord.
The accord has a modern Sony deck installed.
As easy as possible, I just want to swap the honda crap speakers for the Polks. The honda is setup with a tweeter in the dash.
I bought a pair of 1" tweets off ebay for cheap.
Was hoping to just use the existing wires and pop the Polks in. There is no crossover in the honda, they just have limiters on the wire before the tweets so they just get the high freqs. Don't know if the woofs in the door have a limiter.
Question: If I drop a db651 into the door and there is not the full freq going to it, will it work/hurt?
Not looking to spend a bunch, I could buy new amps etc. but not for this car.
What do you all think.
