I bought this recently from a fellow Polkie but have decided it's not meeting my needs. I need more current. Amp is in decent shape, nothing wrong with it and I kept the shipping materials as it was packed well. Selling for same price I paid, $170 + shipping. Here's the thread of the original sale:

What speakers do you have them hooked up to? I'm interested but curious if I would really notice an improvement over what my 3008 is giving me already. (I would bridge to go 3x150, only concern there is the increased THD to .1 from .03)
    Main Setup
    Fronts - Energy RC-50's
    Center - Energy RC-LCR
    Rear - Energy RC-R's
    Subs - Gone...
    AVR - Pioneer SC-37
    Blu-Ray - Sony BDP-S360
    TV - Vizio E550I-B2
    Media Server - Mac Mini

I tried it out on my Vandersteens. Don't get me wrong, the amp sounds good...took some of the harshness away from my Yammy AVR. But, I need something to drive my SDA's and must have had a brain **** when I thought I could bridge this amp with the SDA's...that's a big no-no. I would consider keeping it for the Vandy's but right now the SDA's are my priority.

    It's a 6 channel amp. Using your TX-SR705 as a processor, sure(assuming it has pre-out?).

If I get an AVR with pre-outs, could I use this amp to power my fronts RTi12s and center CS 400i, with the AVR powering the surround speakers fxi3s?

150wpc is very interesting, seeing at how power hungry the 12s are?

Yes. Or you could just let the amp power all the speakers. Either way would work.

Using this for your RTi 12s... ...for your '12s and only then, maybe. With the power supply having to drive just 2, or rather 4 channels, if you have a sub in your system you might do ok.

    cheers, tony
