A horror movie lovers delight. Kind of Grudge meets Poltergeist movie. Pretty solid story line, quite a few "oh crap" moments, raising the hair on the back of your neck. Not scary in a gory way, but in a "freaky" way. Rarely a boring moment. It didn't disappoint, which is saying a LOT these days.

Rent, possible buy. *** 1/2 stars out of 5.

I really enjoyed this flick. It kind of derailed in the last act, but the first half was one of the scariest and creepiest movies in recent memory. Defintely harkens back to when horror movies were more of a "scary, haunted house ride" - and your comparison to Poltergeist is pretty spot-on.

Definitely a fun movie. And certainly not boring.
I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore

It's PG-13, how can that be scary?
Check your lips at the door woman. Shake your hips like battleships. Yeah, all the white girls trip when I sing at Sunday service.

There's no blood or cussing either---didn't even realize it until the movie was over. Creepy trumps blood everytime.

It was another great offering from the man who brought us the paranormal activity movies

Its a creepy one for sure

If you liked this then check out a movie called "death of a ghost hunter" as that movie scared the **** outa me exactly like this and the two paranormal activity ones did .Its very similar but very low budget but it only adds to the creepyness
