...simply put, a great fun time at the movies! The wife, kids and I all enjoyed it. It will obviously have detractors as well, but for many, I can easily suggest a theater screening and/or Bluray purchase! :)

We thoroughly enjoyed it. It's not the 'best movie ever' but it was enjoyable and one I'll be picking up on BR for sure.

I'd like to see it on the big screen, but nobody else in the family is interested in seeing it, so I'll probably wait till it comes out on netflix.
My equipment sig felt inadequate and deleted itself.

My WIFE made me see this show...TWICE in the theater. If that isn't a motivator to go check it out I dunno what is! She's not a big action/sci fi fan at all, but she loved this show.

Tbqh, I found this movie to be pretty bad. What little story there was was stretched to the point of breaking and there were too many little things that killed the believability of the universe - the flies immediately surrounding the alien carcass, more men being killed in the battle scene than were originally in the group, the aliens being immune to gunfire but susceptible to spears, etc - which is really important for a sci-fi movie. It was an excuse to show some special effects and talk like tough guys, but not much more.

Not to mention the dog which supposedly was killed by an alien then just suddenly reappears later in the movie.
This movie sucked soo bad, and with all that star power too. Had more holes in it than a 2$ ****. I left wanting the 2 hours of my life back.
