Can anyone help with setting crossover values?
I have a CS2, two Monitor70s, and 4 Onkyo (until i upgrade later, they came in a HTiaB) surrounds, with an Onkyo sub (also from the HTiaB).
Apparently my version of Audyssey does NOT set the crossover, so I'll have to do that. Any advice?
Thanks!

Agreed...honestly Kazaam, I would ditch the HTIB sub since the 70's can probably play as low as that thing anyway and it will only muddy up the sound. It might be better for you to take the whole htib and sell it off to fund a sub or surround speaks. Your local craigslist can have some good deals.HT SYSTEM-

Damnit I was hoping it wasn't that crappy. I really really don't wanna spend more money, but let's say I did want to buy one...what would you recommend? Is there anyway I can tell if my current one really does suck (I'm gonna deal with the surrounds later)? Here are the specs:
Type: Bass-reflex
Input sensitivity/Impedance:
140 mV/20 kΩ
Maximum output power: 290 W (Dynamic power)
Frequency response: 25 Hz–150 Hz
Cabinet capacity: 37 L (1.3 cubic feet)
Dimensions
(W ? H ? D): 275 ? 507 ? 411 mm
(10-13/16" ? 19-15/16" ? 16-3/16")
Weight: 11.6 kg (25.6 lbs.)
Drivers unit: 25 cm (10") Cone Woofer
Power supply North American:
AC 120 V, 60 Hz
Power consumption North American:
163 W -
run the polk 70's and get a used sub , unless you like the onkyo ..

so should i just set the sub to 80 hz and the rest of them to 150 hz?

No way. Set the sub to 120 and the speakers to 80 or lower (M70's might be ok at like 60 hz).
You want some overlap, not gaps in frequency"....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." William Bruce Cameron, Informal Sociology: A Casual Introduction to Sociological Thinking (1963) -

Haha, wow, I was way off. Isn't 120 hz for the sub high? Wouldn't that make everything have a ton of bass? -

Yeah, I typed too fast , you want it at 80 lol ... but you want to make sure the physical dial on the sub is at 120 "....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." Audyssey set my surrounds and rear surrounds to 150 hz and the front and centers to 40 hz. Should I change these values (to 80hz)? It also lowered my sub to -7db which seems low.

sounds high try rears switch to 80 and I tried my sub set to level with a spl meter it seemed low I had to bump it up . Also where was your mic placed ?
I assume your mains are of good size ?
