What size base should I make for a rti a3 stand?
like the title says, I am trying to decide what size to cut for my speaker stands.
I don't know if they should be the size of the speaker or just a smaller rectangle or square?
I will be using 1"thick board probably (if you know what kind of wood and thickness would also be helpful) and will run 3" pvc in between the bottom and top boarded bases.
thanks

If it was me I would trace the base of the speaker and make it the same shape. That would look pretty sleek. Or maybe make make the same shape only one inch or .5 inch out from the speaker. That way you have an inch parimiter around it. Take a router and round the edges.AVR: Onkyo Tx-NR808
