How much power does the tweeter really need?

The situation is that I have a Sony V444ES AVR that I plan to use as a pre to feed into a HK Signature 2.1 5 channel amp with 100WPC output to RTi8s and CSi5. The AVR will power the rears.

I can biamp the Rti8s, but does the tweeter really need 100WPC or just a few? if just a few, then I can use 2 channel left from the amp to power my computer speakers (Infinity Overture 1)

I read somewhere that said the tweeter usually need no more than 10W. is that true?

Not feeding a speaker enough power is more then likely going to kill the speaker then with more power. The speaker will draw what it needs but having some common sense and control with the volume will keep the speakers running for years to come..

In a nut shell I wouldn't do it..
