Coax Length or increments

I'm about to replace the coax from the wall jack to the TV/radio signal splitter, then from the splitter to the TV and AVR. I know with RG-8 for Ham radios there are standing wavelength considerations and optimal increments for the jumpers.
Are there the same considerations for over-the-air HDTV and radio signal? If so, what are they? In other words...are the jumpers supposed to be a certain length. And is the long jumper from the wall socket supposed to be cut at certain increments??
Thank in advance,

No, just cut or buy coax in the length you need.

OK thanks. The old I took off were 2 different lengths from the spliter to the tv and avr. I made the new ones the same and would you believe it. I picked up 4 more channels. I made 2 3 foot jumpers and the one from the spliter to the wall is now 18 feet. I think it made the difference balancing things out.Too much **** to list....
