local cl ad, very good cond. dont even ask about lower price.

Look nice in front shot, is the price a steal a bargain or just fair?

Also, arent these self powered.

    I have a pair and they were $200, think I talked him down to $180 but can't remember. It's not a steal but a fair price for some good speakers.

    If they're in great shape, 180.00 and less is what I value them. In this economy though, who knows....75 (^^:biggrin:) to 125 maybe.

    The deals will show up eventually.
    I just bought a surround sound set of Definitive Techs. for a few hundred. No sub though:frown:.I always wanted a set.Now I do.
    Older BP10's and BP2's surrounds and a LCR center. 8.5 out of 10 cond..
    The good man said nobody else called him in two days. Just me. I met him days earlier when I bought a set of POLK Monitor 5jr.s 9.5 out of 10 cond.(sl-2000 tweeters)from him.

    That's just a bad sign of the economy around here I guess.
    Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them.

    I think 200 is a bit on the high side. I bought mine from a CP member for less than a 100 bucks. I would say 150 max for these speakers.

    People are hurting, and toys go first for sure.

    Have really seen few quality gear ads at bargain prices on cl.

    Lots of junk of course. scams, ads for businesses and chinese scammers using fu88ed up wording.

    But i think it will happen, 2012 is first opportunity to let the other bunch of crooks in.

    {advisory} not a political post,just commenting on reasons for possible discounting of gear and potential for change in future.....so.......there.

    I bought a pair of 800's for $100 awhile back. Sold them off to fund a SDA purchase.
