Got home yesterday from a rafting and ATV trip outside of Denver. The rafting was a short trip of 8 miles but was still loads of fun. The hard part isn't paddling - it's staying in the boat! I'm the guy in the front of the boat and that's my wife also in the front. We also went ATVing in the mountains which was very scenic. In the one picture I am standing on the edge of the trail looking across at the trail we had been on earlier.

that looks AWESOME. Do you have any information about the trip you could provide us? Where you went, what companies you went with for the rafting / ATVing?

I would love to do something like that someday.

We went with Mile-Hi Rafting. Highly recommended. We did the "Blast" rafting trip and the 2 hour ATV trip. The rafting was the best bang for the buck. We stayed at the Ameristar casino in Black Hawk which was only about 30 minutes from Mile-Hi and was very nice hotel but a terribly tight casino.

    Cody,

I agree with you! That looks freaking awsome, we're planning to try and get to the National Whitewater Center in Charlotte, I've never rafted like that but I feel like that would be a great place to get started. Nice job Polkitup, very nice!

Ive spent a lot of summers up that way, great country

You do have to be careful tho, tubing on Boulder Creek is very dangerous but fun! They had to close it this year several times

My Uncle Bob is someone who's info you should read up on, and keep his contact numbers handy, in case, God forbid there is a serious accident.
He's one of the top neurologists in the country and now is the medical director of rehabilitation services, trama specialist at Mapleton CO. Dr. Robert Scaer. http://www.thrivingnow.com/scaer-trauma/

Have fun, use safety equipment always!!!

Tell them you know Craig in Tucson, hopefully you won't have too.

Sounds like a great time. Rafting in CO can be fun at any time but the flows are really up this year due to the high snow pack levels over the winter so should be better than ever.
