cross over ?

i have rt a5 up front with cs10 center
is 80 to low a crossover for the cs10?
could i damage speaker?

i also have rta5 set at 60 (fronts)
monitorii 50 rears set at 90
psw10 sub

any comments would help

    You won't damage the speaker from using an incorrect crossover setting. The lower -3db limit is 63Hz on the CS10, so 80 or 90Hz on the crossover should be fine.

    what about the crossover for the cs1?

    lower -3db point for CS1 is 65Hz, so 80-90Hz on the crossover would be fine for it also. 90Hz would probably be optimal for both.

    thanks. where do you find lower 3db stats?

    You just find the product on the Polk site and look at the tech specs, they're all there. I usually just google "polk CS1", and click on the product page from there. Set your crossover at least 20-30Hz higher than that spec.

    I have a '67 Bronco. My brother had a very nice, new charcoal '86 GT convertible back in the day. It wasn't 11 sec., but a helluva ride back then.
