Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2

Slow, sluggish start. The beginning felt disjounted and not very smooth. Ending was good. I prefer Part 1 but I think my problem is the story is coming to the end so there's really no new material or buildup since it is the conclusion. Find the horcrux, kill Voldemort, tie up loose ends (which I thought they did a good job), and some final revelations. Ok, so that contracts with my no new material statement. I did not see it in 3D.
I will miss this series and especially the characters I've grown to love - especially Hermione (she had me at "What an idiot."). Bravo for keeping me spellbound through 8 movies and 7 books.

I haven't seen it yet but I agree with you. One of my favs for a long time and will hate to see it go. So far all 7 movies have been very entertaining, and have kept me interested throughout the series. I'm glad you enjoyed the final movie. Even though this is closure, do you felt like they left anything open to come back to the series at a later time?Shoot the jumper.....................BALLIN.............!!!!!

I enjoyed all the books - and was supremely sorry that it had to end finally. Probably the few books I can reread. The movies have been good for the most part - minus the half-blood prince. That one ended up being some teen angst type movie - hated it. I'm glad they're taking their time and splitting the final book into 2 movies though. Slow or not it should be fun - I'll be seeing it Saturday night!
I think Harry Potter as an adult would be interesting ...though perhaps the novels would have to cater a bit more to the older crowd..ALL BOXED UP for a while until I save up for a new place

Yes. No spoilers so I won't say more. -
I thought they swayed to the adult crowd over the first three movies pretty well. They were the first movies we watched when I bought my first Big 42" plazma. Sitting on the floor eating pop corn.... Of course I have a great surround system for each of my big screens and those movies sound was great.
My 50" er puts more movie feel to the big movies though. Even, To kill a mockingbird, was different and awsome on the big 50" screen. A whole new kindof excitementment like seeing them for the first time.
Maybe "The Birds" is in my future out there.:cool:Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them.
