Here's the deal. I am going to pick up the sda srs that I bought finally but ran into a snag. The speakers are 21 inches wide and so I I lay them on their back they will not fit between the wheel wells of my suv or my friends truck.
Can srs be laid in their side safely? Would this harm the cabs at all? I want to make sure this goes smoothly as I'm on a tight schedule that day and want the babies to be safe.I figure if they go on their sides then just use a ton of padding between them and tie them down in the truck bed or suv so they don't move around or fall over.

Yes.Would this harm the cabs at all?
No.
One note of caution, do not slide them on their backs as the binding post cup sits proud.Political Correctness'.........defined
"A doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical minority and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a t-u-r-d by the clean end."

Thanks Larry and Jesse! I'm just super excited and want to make sure these arrive nice and safe.

Helped a buddy of mine transport some SRS's in a Ford Taurus wagon and we laid one on its back and the other on its side without any problems. Just make sure when you're putting them on there side try not to slide them into position, that could pull or tear the side cloth.
