All the pre's (and sources for that matter) that I have had, red is the right channel, and white or black is the left channel. What pre-amp is it?

What's the confusion? If you look at the left side of all the inputs and outputs, they are clearly labeled L and R. And red is right as usual.

He is asking about RCA's, which is right and left. Both connectors have a positive and negative.

William, We know he means RCA's.

I have never seen any stereo equipment where the red was not the right channel. So what we say still goes. Red is Right, Black or White is Left.

I agree, and stated that yesterday in post #5. I'm still not sure how positive and negative have anything to do with it, unless he was referring to speaker terminals.
