So good it needs it's own thread (Two Towers)

I saw some scattered discussion about this, but thought it was such an explicitily incredible sub experience it should get it's own thread:

"The Wing Flap," right around 40:10.

Sweet mother of all that is good and pure.

The coolest thing about this to me is how it really feels like a wing just flapped. The character and nature of the bass make it feel like a wing of incredible proportions just flexed it's might in my home theater.

I haven't broken out the SPL meter for this one, but it is definetly my favorite quick fix of bass scene right now.

It was so funny listening to it at work. It was being modulated out to about a million tv's, the wings flap (whoomp!) then all the tv speakers start crackling like mad. I was rolling!

Of course you failed to mention, Jesy, that this was through an SVS 20-39PC+. Naturally the wing flap sounded real! I was playing at -10 Ref Lev and I thought the room was going to collapse. Awesome.
