System includes two each RM7 and RM8 satellites. Which pair is intended for front use?

RM7's front and RM8's rear. The RM8's are dipole for wider dispersion which works best in surround use or rears.
The RM7's are front firing like regular bookshelf speakers.
Which Center channel did you get? The RM7 Center or RM8 Center. Both work very well in either case. -
Put the RM8s in the front. There are not true dipole (or bipole) speakers due to the triangle shape. The setup is supposed to give a more disperse soundstage to make the speakers less location dependent, but they won't give the very disperse sound of dipole speakers. They can be used for either fronts or rears, but since they are more full range than the RM7s, they should be used as the fronts in this setup.

Thought I had answered my own question by reading about them again on Newegg...RM7=front, RM8=rear. Now with two opposing opinions I'm not sure. Maybe wait for more replies and go with the majority.
Center speaker is the RM8C. -
Best answer is to try both and see which you prefer. You really can't go wrong either way.

I agree try both. You may prefer the more disperse speakers (rm8s) in a certain location.
It looks like you have this setup: http://www.polkaudio.com/homeaudio/rm2008/index.php?s=rm8#rm85 -

Yes, packaged as the RM510 and includes the PSW110 sub. $250 at Newegg. -
Polk tech support suggested RM8's in the front.

I will say I have this setup and preferred the RM7's upfront. But that could be the room more than the speakers. The RM8's did a better job as rears for me.
Polk Tech usually knows what they are talking about. I would still try both.
