Is the Polk Audio PSW125 worth it's asking price of $439.99 at Futureshop? Right now I have 2 Polk Audio T300 bookshelf speakers setup to my 120 watt receiver, would this subwoofer sound good with this setup? Its also in a finished, open space basement, thanks!

That seems about 100bucks to high to me. I see them on Amazon for 339.00.

Its just not worth it (no matter where you get it). I have one, wish I hadnt bought it and spent more on a better sub.

Look at the PSW505 on newegg for 250, or the DSW line of subs from Polks ebay site (or another brand entirely).

I live in Canada, the Canadian newegg website doesnt have any subwoofers, and I cant order from the American website. Any Canadian websites that sell subwoofers for good prices?

If you buy from egg... read the fine print... I'm pretty sure there is a 15% restock fee on many of their items.

i have the psw125 and is good for movies, very bad (in my opinion for music). the psw505 is a better more affordable option, very good music and very good movies.

    good luck,

The PSW125 is an entry level subwoofer and I think that price is way too high for the performance returned. Check out the PSW505 or the newer lineup of DSWPro or DSW MicroPro series instead.

Since you're in Canada, don't even consider it. You only want the newer subwoofers from Polk, period.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

Running stereo PSW125's right now in a 2ch rig, at the Polk eBay direct prices recently (around $200) it's a no brainer. At the prices mentioned, you are in DSW territory.

    Cheers,

If you don't live in western canada to pick one up at one of their stores they do ship.
